The cruising yacht uses very light construction with extensive use of carbon fibre for structures such as her mast. In terms of sailing features, VM 80 comes with a retractable keel, lifting from 4 metres to 2.5 metres when entering shallow ports or cruising areas under power. Suave and sophisticated but also welcoming and family-friendly, the colour palette in the main saloon and dining room, which take advantage of the full 9.6-metre beam, is based on aquamarine and ivory soft furnishings combined with warm wood veneers, natural leathers and full-height windows for exceptional light and panoramic views. The changes mean that Project Venus shares only the same technical and engineering specifications with her predecessors in the series. A noteworthy addition is the “shark tooth” motif, a design feature halfway along the side of the bridge deck that lends the yacht a powerful personality. The yard teamed up with designers <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4626" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Micheletti + Partners (Company)">Micheletti + Partners</a> from Milan for the design of the interiors on board. A stern garage is accessed through the folding transom door where a 3-metre tender is stored.&nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/190643/image/large-e71630e3426bbcb2c452bf6f1811905b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/190643">In terms of sailing features, VM 80 comes with a retractable keel, lifting from 4 metres to 2,5 metres when entering shallow ports or cruising areas under power.
