The Yacht Design Talent Awards 2015 jury has narrowed the initial field of 26 entries down to 6 exciting designs. Members of the public are now encouraged to vote for their favourite design by visiting any of the event’s social media platforms to select the designs they find most appealing; an act which will influence the final voting stage to be completed at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show on the 25th September.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/155910/image/large-70c9b7c60f9007656d2de1bde119ee17.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/155910">Participants were asked to design a side profile of a 50m motor yacht as well as a detailed setup of the vessel’s sundeck. Students from across the globe put their design caps on to come up with their best version of what a superyacht should look like. 6 of these designs are now available to be judged on the event’s social media platforms. The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft. The second enclosed saloon area of 180 square-meters is situated on the upper floor, with a double-height greenhouse in the forward lounge area.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/269396/image/large-c42ba9184aebcbc14a33526bc0fd2bd8.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/269396">Necklace can accommodate as many as 16 guests, with the owner's apartment on the upper deck featuring a 100 square-metre private terrace and excellent views. Unveiling the largest Granocean power catamaran, the X-32M featuring an expansive owner’s apartment

The yacht was extensively rewired and re-plumbed, demanding the disassembly of the yacht's interiors.
