Dutch yacht design and engineering studio, Vripack, has created over 7000 designs since 1961. They are involved in the entire building process of innovative yachts that are professionally developed for private customers and shipyards worldwide.<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hU3tNfy1pBc" width="560"></iframe>The company believes in a holistic approach to their projects. Marnix J. Hoekstra and Bart Bouwhuis, directors at Vripack, explain, “A good design shouldn’t meet all the requirements. It should surpass them in order to engineer a project that goes well beyond a dream. A holistic design approach is fundamental towards working on the cutting edge of design and technology. We believe we don’t just design yachts, we engineer fantasies.”Last year saw Vripack introduce their open trend platform VriThink! which ascertains what the wants and needs of future clients are. The first is a semi-open space of 320 square-meters on the main deck, with opening terraces, extendable to 400 square-meters, and with a gym and beach club aft.
