42m in-build Vulkan project VK-1 sold
Due to be completed in 2020, the Vulkan project VK-1 has been sold after having been shipped to Turkey in October for completion. Construction of the 42.1-metre all-aluminium yacht began in 2007 to Germanischer Lloyd classification and was originally due to be completed in 2009.The 423 GT tri-deck yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, and eight crew can sleep on board and attend to guests’ needs. Zero-speed stabilisers ensure comfort for the guests when the yacht is at anchor.
Project VK-1 is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines and can reach up to 21 knots and cruise at 17 knots. At a speed of 12 knots, the yacht has an impressive range of 4,000 nautical miles.
At the time of sale, the asking price for project VK-1 was €1,800,000.
