The 46.77-metre motor yacht Dot, built by Wang Tak in 1989, has been sold. She was sold by Miles Clark of Ocean Independence.
A truly unique motor yacht, Dot was converted from a Hong Kong Star Ferry into a luxury private motor yacht. She is built with a steel hull, with an aluminium and steel superstructure. Having undergone an extensive refit in 2020, she offers over 6,000 square feet of accommodation, including four very large staterooms, sleeping up-to 8 guests. 
Standout features include a spacious saloon with large comfortable seating area and a mezzanine level, a cinema, a full service bar, a separate study room and office room, and a large al fresco dining area on her upper deck with a bimini for shade.
Dot is powered by one 780 horse power MAN diesel engine, giving her a maximum speed of 9 knots and a cruising speed of 7 knots. 
She was sold with a last known asking price of HK$21,000,000.
