American shipyard Westport Yachts has revealed new renders of its 35.76-metre Westport 117 yacht currently in build and due to be delivered in 2021. The new motor yacht will sport a raised pilothouse and is being built to ABS classification with a GRP hull and superstructure. Up to eight guests would be able to sleep onboard the Westport 117. Guest accommodation will be comprised of a full-beam master suite located amidship on the lower deck with a king-sized bed and ‘his-and-hers’ bathroom facilities; a full-beam VIP stateroom also located on the lower deck with a queen-sized bed and ensuite facilities; a port-side guest stateroom with a queen-sized bed and ensuite facilities; and a twin cabin located starboard with ensuite facilities. Two aft staterooms make up the crew quarters and will be equipped with private bathroom facilities. With a 7.7-metre beam, the Westport 117 model will have an open and spacious saloon, the interior design of which will be tailored to suit the demands of each individual client. The superstructure side and pilothouse front windows have been designed without a frame allowing for unobstructed views of the surroundings. The Westport 117 will feature an integrated Westport Yachts glass bridge with a stainless steel and teak-rimmed helm station wheel. The flybridge will be decked out with steering controls, a wet bar with a BBQ area and refrigerator, three bar stools and a settee with cushions and a table. The yacht will also feature a hot tub with a sunpad top, al-fresco dining areas and a beach club equipped with a stone covered bar, refrigerator, ice maker, sink and TV. A variety of audiovisual entertainment systems are fitted throughout the yacht, including in the staterooms. Additionally, the Westport 117 yacht will be able to house an AB Nautilus 15DLX tender with a 70hp Yamaha outboard motor. For the onboard comfort of its guests, stabilisation during anchor is provided by two model 35 Seakeeper gyro stabilisers. Powered by twin diesel-fuelled Caterpillar C32 Acert engines with 1900 hp each, the Westport 117 model will be able to reach up to 24 knots and cruise at 20 knots.
