Westport’s 39.62-metre motor yacht Nina Lu has been sold. Michael C. Galati represented the seller during these negotiations, whilst the buyer was introduced by Kent Harrington of Ballast Point Yachts. The last known asking price was $14,950,000.
Nina Lu began construction in 2010 and was delivered the following year. Westport designed her with entertainment and socialising in mind, hence her multi-leveled hosting areas. To her aft is a full bar and screening area, wrapped by wall-to-ceiling windows, and which infuses character and class with chilled down-time.
Meanwhile up in the main salon, Nina Lu continues to boast impressive space for socialising. The area has been penned to mimic a Scot Fitzgeraldesk elegance, and is equipped with a cocktail bar, a games area and plush leather sitting dotted around the cavernous space. Bringing the salon out of the 20s and back into the modern day is the state-of-the-art surround sound system and pop-out 50-inch TV. 
The outer decks are also just as generous with space, and guests have the chance to wine, dine, or just cut-back and relax. Nina Lu has a skylounge with a full bar, games area and a fireplace for those colder evenings. To the aft deck, there is a barbeque and the sundeck offers guests the chance to soak in a Jacuzzi.
Nina Lu can accommodate up to 10 guests across her five staterooms: one master suite which is located on deck and is equipped with a private study; and four additional staterooms – two VIP with king beds and two twin cabins. 
Under her hull sits twin MTU engines that generate enough power to give her a top speed of 24 knots and a comfortable cruise speed of 20 knots. When motoring at 10 knots Nina Lu has an impressive 3,000 nautical mile range.
