Wim van der Valk announced on their Facebook page that the hull and superstructure on the Trawler 2395 were successfully joined on 13th May. The all aluminium vessel is the first of a new series for the Dutch yard of semi-custom trawler-style yachts designed by the renowned Guido de Groot, and is being built on spec.
On board she will accommodate up to eight guests over a four cabin layout, as well as a crew of four. In regards to her performance, she is powered by twin V8 MAN 1,200 hp engines which will provide her with a top speed of 18 knots, and thanks to her round-bilged hull and semi-displacement capabilities, she will boast excellent fuel efficiency.
The Trawler 2395 is scheduled to be completed in Spring next year and is currently for sale.
