Maltese Falcon, a sailing work of art that stands out even from a distance, once again proved that it remains unrivalled as it has been declared winner of the 50 finest superyachts ever!
The yacht was awarded the first Baccarat Superyacht World Trophy to SY Maltese Falcon in a ceremony that was held at the Marina of Monaco on the 26th of September.
Ms. Elena Ambrosiadou received the award, stating that it is an honour for both the Maltese Falcon to be still considered innovative in both technological and aesthetical terms, and also for the Monaco Yacht Club itself.
After the ceremony 200 illustrious guests enjoyed the crew’s services on board, in a delightful cocktail party overlooking the view of illuminated Monaco. Delicious flavours, inspiring music, a movie projection on its sails (it has the largest “floating screen” in the world) and champagne with edible gold flakes were only some of the highlights.
Maltese Falcon is considered a masterpiece of sailing innovation. It is available for charter in the Pacific Ocean, the Andaman Sea, Asia and Polynesia during 2014 & 2015, always ready to offer long distance voyages and memorable experiences.
It has 6 luxurious double cabins and many sophisticated spaces of a unique design. Apart from its amenities, its guests can also enjoy all kinds of water sports. Moreover, it is one of the most ecologically friendly superyachts, using wind power whenever possible.
