Transported by barge in the short distance from Oceanco’s exclusive hull builders Zwijnenburg BV, the Y706 hull was upon its arrival joined with her two-part tri-deck aluminium superstructure with meticulous precision. Following an inclination test, the complete structure was loaded in her finishing bay alongside the 85.5m Y705, which will be Oceanco’s end-2009 delivery.

This spectacular new Oceanco superyacht designed by Nuvolari & Lenard features several special elements that ensure life on board will be as pleasant as possible. The main salon includes a state of the art entertainment area complete with a 5m x 2m Panavision movie format screen. One of her most astounding features will surely be the 80-inch television set which folds out from the ceiling of the exterior aft main deck and swivels positions to accommodate all al-fresco viewing options. The vast open area on the aft main deck also hosts a 6.5m x 3.5m swimming pool which, at the touch of a button transforms into a helipad or an entertainment area, a feature first perfected on the legendary Alfa Nero.

Y706 will include a spacious master stateroom with a study and a private exterior deck area with a pool, a VIP suite with his & her bathrooms, two double VIP suites, one twin VIP cabin and two double guest cabins. The contemporary interior will feature walnut, teak, mahogany and rosewood interspersed with natural materials, fabrics and colours.

Y706’s much anticipated delivery is scheduled at the end of 2010.
