This week, Edmiston confirmed the sale of the 59-metre yacht Akula. The brokerage firm worked alongside Serafim Papadopoulos of SSH Maritime to complete the deal.Akula yacht anchored Akula yacht anchored Originally built in 1974 by Amels as a pilot vessel, Akula was converted into an explorer yacht by Vosper Thornycorft in 1999. During this time, Akula was refitted to accommodate professional helicopter operations thanks to a new flight deck and helicopter hangar and her long-range cruising capabilities were enhanced. She also has space for up to 17 crew onboard.
