24m yacht Blue Moon sold
The 24.38-metre yacht Blue Moon has been sold with a last known asking price of $2,495,000 after 137 days on the market. The deal was closed with Iain Lawrie of Merle Wood & Associates representing the buyer and Bob Cury and George Bittles of Robert J. Cury & Associates representing the seller.Blue Moon was originally built in 2004 by Alaskan Yachts, but has been well-maintained throughout her life. The motor yacht was refitted in 2019 and features naval architecture and an exterior design by her builder, Alaskan Yachts.
On board, Blue Moon can accommodate up to eight guests across four staterooms, taken care of by a crew of just two.
Her exteriors are home to lounge and dining areas on both her aft deck and fly bridge. Guests can access the water from the aft deck via stairs that connect to a platform.
Performance-wise, Blue Moon sports twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines which allow her to cruise comfortably at 14 knots and reach a top speed of up to 20 knots.
