In the shed at the Italian shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5686" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cantiere Navale Vittoria (Company)">Vittoria Yachts</a>&nbsp;now under construction is the 50-metre yacht Bow Sprit. The vessel will mark the first ever motor yacht constructed by the builders and is set to be completed in 2023.&nbsp;The keel laying ceremony took place at the yard’s Adria facility and marked the first unit in the builder’s Explorer line, designed by Sergio Cutolo. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/176330/image/large-05395fd66fc3abfe60dfac3e68301c3e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/176330">The 500 GT yacht’s characteristic bowsprit that extends beyond the prow and gives the design her name is the brainchild of Sergio Cutolo and was designed in partnership with <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1181" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Hydro Tec S.r.l. Notable design points include the yacht’s masculine lines and open spaces that can be easily converted according to her owner’s needs.A large swimming pool located at the aft end of the yacht will be the centrepiece of the beach club area. This is reflected in the group’s order backlog distribution: Europe accounts for 40%, the Americas for 37%, and the Middle East and Africa (MEA) along with the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for 23%.€160 million in planned investment<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut|Benetti Group</a> has initiated an investment plan valued at €160 million during the three-year period from 2025 to 2027, to support the company's strategic priorities. The primary objective, supported by an allocation of €99.3 million, is to expand the production capacity across all the group’s shipyards.
