Yacht broker Nicholas Baker passes away

Business

It is with great sadness that Camper & Nicholsons International must announce the death of our dear colleague Nicholas Baker.

Nick passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday 17th May. Our thoughts are with his wife Karen and children Rosanna, Francesca and Charlie.

As you have experienced, Nick showed the utmost discretion, professionalism and integrity in all of his client and colleague relationships. This has set the standard that we will now all try and emulate. Nick has asked that in the first instance you contact his colleague in London Toby Walker ([email protected]) with any of your yachting requirements. Toby will ensure that everyone within Camper & Nicholsons worldwide is ready to maintain the levels of service and attention that Nick demonstrated so well.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held in Winchester Cathedral at 3.00p.m. on Monday 23rd June. Any donations to Nick's charity, AquaLung, will be gratefully received and should be sent to: The AquaLung Trust, C/o Clyde & Co, 51 Eastcheap, London EC3M 1JP.

Nick will remain a truly inspirational figure both at Camper & Nicholsons International and in the yachting community as a whole. We know he has always valued your support and enthusiasm for yachts and we look forward to continuing the work that Nick has started with you.
