Gresham Yacht Design has pulled the wraps off of an all-new 90-metre superyacht concept, dubbed Apollo. The project was conceived after inquiries to develop an alternative to the UK-based studio’s Thor Explore concept. 
Apollo is a rugged explorer penned with masculine exterior lines, which have been developed to ensure that guests can enjoy astounding views while underway. The superyacht has a 17-metre beam and can accommodate up to 16 guests and 40 crew. She spans seven decks and features a central viewing platform amidships. Gresham Yacht Design carved out a full-beam observation lounge, large enough to host all onboard guests.
On the deck below the observation deck is where the main saloon is situated, and Gresham Yacht Design fitted the space with semi-enclosed balconies with glass balustrades, providing guests with uninterrupted views from the sanctuary of the saloon. Aft of the saloon is the winter garden, which is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and connected to the six-metre swimming pool. 
The imperative to connect guests with the surrounding environment is also found further up on the bridge deck, which is fitted with a walk-around promenade. The deck is home to a cluster of seats and a fire pit, perfect for unwinding in the late evening.

Other key features of Apollo include a dedicated owner’s deck, complete with a suite, a private lobby, an office and plenty of personal alfresco space. The superyacht also has a dive centre with a recompression chamber, a fully equipped wellness suite and a cinema.

The superyacht has a cavernous tender garage to carry all the equipment necessary for even the most intrepid explorer. She also has a certified helideck and helicopter hangar.
