Photo: Rivergate Marina & ShipyardFormerly known as Lady Ghislaine and Lady Mona K, tri-deck yacht Dancing Hare was built by the Vlissingen-based shipyard Amels in 1986. The 57.7-metre yacht, which features naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and both interior and exterior design by London-based studio Bannenberg & Rowell, had an extensive refit at Balk Shipyard in 2017-2018, including a four-metre extension of the sundeck, a refurbished interior and an equipment overhaul and servicing. The refit was overseen by KK Superyachts and designer Olivia Outred was responsible for the changes to the yacht. The Dutch shipyard had to temporarily extend both its sheds to accommodate the yacht. “Your customers grow bigger, so you have to grow with them,” said Daan Balk about the occasion. Up to 12 guests can sleep on board yacht Dancing Hare in a master suite, four doubles and a twin stateroom, and they can be taken care of by up to 13 crew. Here she is seen at Rivergate Marina & Shipyard in Brisbane, Australia.
