The 54-metre Fortunate Sun shows off both interior and exterior designs by British design legend Tim Heywood, making it the only yacht he has ever designed inside and out. The Western Australia-based shipyard Oceanfast drew up the yacht’s naval architecture to encompass a layout to accommodate up to 10 guests and include a master suite, two double staterooms and two twin staterooms, and six cabins for up to 12 crew. Among other amenities, Fortunate Sun has a Jacuzzi on the sundeck forward and ample relaxation on both the forward and aft sundeck.

During her refit works at Derecktor Shipyards in the United States in 2016, both her hull and superstructure were repainted. The tri-deck can reach up to 17.3 knots thanks to a pair of MTU 12V 4000 M70 engines.
