Admiral launches 55m custom superyacht Geco

Hitting the water for the first time today at The Italian Sea Group’s shipyard was the 55.2-metre yacht Geco. Materials such as French wood, Italian marble, bronzed metal and leather are used for detailing throughout the new superyacht to contrast against tones of navy blue and cognac orange. Admiral yacht Geco launch in Marina di CarraraPhoto: The Italian Sea GroupOther features include a large jacuzzi pool, numerous outdoor lounge areas for alfresco living such as a sundeck with gym equipment and a touch-and-go helipad which can be transformed into a ‘Buddha Bar’ lounge area with an outdoor cinema. The innovative beach area club is completed by high glass side walls designed to offer protection as well as a large sunbathing platform served by an ultra-modern staircase for access to the sea.Geco yacht exterior design With surveyor Matthew Sainz and the owner’s team in attendance, Michel Chryssicopoulos of IYC spoke as the owner's team representative: “It gives us great satisfaction to see the huge amount of hard work materialize in such a beautiful custom-built yacht.
