With hull number 10 making her European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show this year, the 27.45-metre Horizon FD87 has an extended length compared to her predecessor, the FD85, allowing for more amenities such as those found in a yacht of over 30 metres. The FD87 Skyline’s design is an evolution of previous editions of the FD series and has been adapted to incorporate the feedback received from current Horizon owners.

Photo: Horizon YachtsThe FD87 Skyline, which has a 7.11-metre beam and an enclosed skylounge on the upper deck, features a light and airy main deck saloon with oak woodwork. The saloon also boasts a dining table that can be converted into a breakfast bar, privacy doors and a Hi/Lo island partition allowing for the forward galley to be separated from the saloon.

Photo: Horizon yachtsThe full-beam master stateroom is situated furthest forward, whereas four spacious guest staterooms outfitted in elegant Wenge are located on the lower deck, while the upper deck features a comfortable enclosed skylounge aft of the helm station.

Photo: Horizon yachtsWith maximised exterior areas, a yacht from the Horizon FD Series yacht is able to feature a foredeck area designed with a settee and dinette, sprawling sunpad and “love seat” to be enjoyed during cocktail hour or to marvel at the views. Aft of the enclosed skylounge on the upper deck, guests can make use of the bar, a dinette and lounging area and a barbecue.
