Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has announced the on-schedule delivery of the fourth unit in its 52 Steel series, Lady Lena, to her owner in La Spezia. Photo: SanLorenzoWith exteriors and interiors from the drawing boards of Lombardia based designer Mauro Micheli, the 52-metre superyacht offers her guests a unique onboard experience thanks to the various customisation options offered in her design. In addition, ACP Surveyors acted as the surveyor and owner's representative for Lady Lena prior to her delivery. Highlights on board motor yacht Lady Lena include a swimming pool on the main deck with a transparent base allowing light through to the space below, and a generous beach club that is created by opening hatches on three sides. As an additional bonus, the beach club can be converted easily into a storage space for tenders. This is done through raising the deck of the main area to make room for the bay, which can contain tenders of up to eight metres in length.
The interiors create a timeless and elegant feel using fine leathers, wood and marble, and furnishings that embody a classic ‘Made in Italy’ style, from designers such as Angelo Cappellini, Baldi and Laudarte. Lady Lena offers two saloons placed on the main and upper deck, a fitness area and ample outdoor spaces including lounges on the main, upper and the sun deck for her guests to relax and enjoy the best of life on the water.Photo: SanLorenzoThe owner of the new 52-metre superyacht commented at the delivery: "Since the first meeting with Sanlorenzo, I felt part of a family with a big heart and which is driven by the passion for its work. I believe these three values represent the real 'Made in Italy.''
He continued, "Furthermore, I’m very proud of Sanlorenzo's work because, despite the great difficulties that have characterized this last period all over the world and especially in Italy, my yacht has been delivered on time without any delay. I, therefore, wish to thank Mr Massimo Perotti and the whole Sanlorenzo team who were involved in the project, but also Daniil Slugevich of Boutique.Yachts who supported me in this journey. Now we are ready to face an intense charter season!"
Up to 12 guests are accommodated on Lady Lena across six staterooms, consisting of two guest cabins, three VIP staterooms and a large owner’s apartment at the bow of the main deck. Powered by twin MTU engines, Lady Lena reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots and cruises at 15 knots.
