Following the sale of the first hull of Bilgin 156 two months ago, the 47.5-metre Bilgin 156-II named Lilium has hit the water. As Lilium was the last yacht to be launched from the Turkish shipyard’s former facility in Kucukcekmece of Istanbul, the shipyard will now concentrate its projects at its facilities located in West Istanbul Marina.

The design has also allowed for the galley to be situated to allow more space between guests and crew. The interior designer of Bilgin Yachts İlkay Dovan commented on her desire to create a bright and airy atmosphere: “We tried to imagine even the tiniest details through the look of a kaleidoscope. It was a challenging process to create luminous effect while deciding on the proportions of each material.”

İsmail Şengün, CEO of Bilgin Yachts commented, “The Bilgin 156-II is named after the beautiful white flower Lilium as a sign of our promise to the yacht owners: A sunny and happy day on deck.”

She is a proud example of today's globally recognized Turkish craftsmanship."
