UAE-based shipyard Gulf Craft has announced the launch of its latest superyacht: the 37-metre motor yacht Majesty 120 which took to the waters for the first time on 18th February.First revealed at last year's Monaco Yacht Show, the all-GRP vessel’s in-house exterior profile features angular lines and contemporary styling and was inspired by the shipyard’s previous model, the Majesty 140. Notably, a standout feature on board the Majesty 120 can be found in her vast sundeck which is “30 percent larger than yachts in its class” according to the shipyard. Her interiors come from the drawing boards of Italian studio Cristiano Gatto Design, who previously collaborated with the UAE-based shipyard on the design of the Majesty 175 and the interiors of the Majesty 140. The brief of the design was for a minimalistic style to suit international tastes and to create a modern and contemporary feel.On board, she accommodates up to 11 guests across five generous staterooms in an asymmetric layout who are looked after by up to seven crewmembers.Commenting on the launch, Paul Gray, Gulf Craft Chief Operating Officer, said: “This is a momentous day in the proud history of both Gulf Craft and Majesty Yachts. With its efficiency and comfort onboard, as well as more usable living space, the Majesty 120 is a superyacht perfectly tailored to suit European and American markets, as well as appealing to our home GCC territories. This truly represents the start of a new era for our company as we strive to bring more to the yachting world with every new product launch.”Nizar Tagi, Chief Commercial Officer at Gulf Craft commented: “The superyacht tri-deck Majesty 120 has ample features and smart layout configuration that opens its market opportunity to international markets. Beautifully designed interiors and timeless exterior lines makes the Majesty 120 a unique proposition in the market today.” Photo: Majesty YachtsPhoto: Majesty YachtsThe 290 GT Majesty 120 is the first Majesty model to have a fully electrically powered onboard equipment allowing it to have a noise-free environment and less demanding maintenance lifespan leaving only the twin MTU 2,600 hp engines and generators to be powered by diesel fuel.Photo: Majesty YachtsFollowing her delivery, the Majesty 120 will make her global premiere following delivery at the Dubai International Boat Show.
