The 28.17-metre Ocean Alexander yacht Miss Michelle has been sold, with Rob Newton from IYC representing the buyer and José Arana Jr. from 1 Ocean Yachts acting on behalf of the seller in the deal. Built in 2012 by the Taiwanese shipyard Ocean Alexander as an Ocean Alexander 90 model, the all GRP motor yacht Miss Michelle previously cruised under the name of Patti Belle and features exterior design from the drawing boards of London-based designer Evan K Marshall, as well as in-house naval architecture.
With a gross tonnage of 173, Miss Michelle accommodates up to eight guests across four staterooms, as well as a crew of three who are housed in two cabins. Performance-wise, twin diesel MTU 1600hp engines enable her to reach a top speed of 18 knots and cruise comfortably at 14 knots. After spending more than 3.5 years (1354 days) on the market as a yacht for sale, the last-known asking price for Miss Michelle was $3,700,000.
