The construction of the yacht, which has been developed in collaboration with yacht designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4364" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Horacio Bozzo Design (Company)">Horacio Bozzo Design</a>, will begin this year and she is due for delivery in 2027.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/331546/image/large-df9b1d8ab13f4e8019ade2f99f404ba9.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/331546">Developed and funded in-house by the team at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5463" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Barnes Yachting (Company)">Barnes Yachting</a>, Project Tide is the first hull of an ambitious project by the company to build yachts for the clients of both <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5463" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Barnes Yachting (Company)">Barnes Yachting</a> and the extensive residential portfolio of Barnes International. Today most yacht builders are builders and assemblers, constructing hulls and superstructures but assembling interiors made by specialists elsewhere, and shipyard’s like <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/7235" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Orion Yachts (Company)">Orion Yachts</a> are accomplished in this type of manufacturing. We have also been able to establish a production line with the shipyard, meaning that our clients won't have to wait four-five years for their vessel, as you would at an Italian or Northern European shipyard today. Both of the yachts are 52-metres, under 500 GT, which I think is the current sweet spot for the market and we aim to begin metal cutting at the end of this year, with the first yacht exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show 2027. The 109-metre <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/companies/lurssen" target="_blank">Lürssen</a> superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6431" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="O3109.0m (357'7&quot;)Lürssen Yachts2026">O3</a>, ex. Project Icecap/Project Shackleton, has been delivered to her owner from the shipyard's facility in Hamburg.
