Yacht Protect Services Limited has announced that it has received its Approval Certificate in compliance with MCA Marine Guidance Note 453 relating to fire retardant treatment on board MCA Large Commercial Yacht Code certified vessels.
Following an audit programme by a UK Notified Body the Company achieved a successful outcome for its fire retardant treatment process and quality systems.
Apart from the overall accreditation as a Service Provider, Yacht Protect Services has also had its flame retardant product successfully tested in accordance with the current IMO FTP codes against an extensive range of textile materials used on board existing and new build Superyachts.
