For sale: 25m 1962 ice-trawler yacht Sindbad
The 24.83-metre yacht Sindbad, for sale as a 1960s ice-trawler, is awaiting a new owner. Built by A. Eidsvik Skipsbyggeri, the yacht was originally delivered to her first owner in 1962. Eidsvik Skipsbyggeri yacht for sale has had consistent maintenance, upgrades, and continuous refits throughout her life. In 2018, Sindbad was refitted at Front Street Shipyard in Belfast, Maine.
To become the motor yacht for sale she is today, the refit work included extensive steelwork to her hull, new caprails, and the replacement of almost every piece of equipment in the yacht’s engine room, which was subsequently sandblasted and repainted. Sindbad’s interiors are stylised by classic teak wood and teak finishes throughout. Her main saloon has elevated skylights to enhance areas with natural light on board. She also showcases a booth-style dining area.
