Dutch brokerage company Lengers Yachts confirmed the sale of hull number 720 of the Sanlorenzo SL96A range following its world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2020 last month.Photo: SanLorenzoThe concept for the 29.1-metre yacht SL96A is the result of a collaboration of various creative minds such as the American car designer Chris Bangle, SanLorenzo’s in-house team of designers and technicians and the Italian designer Bernardo Zuccon from Zuccon International Project. The interior of this newly sold yacht SL96A has been designed by the Rome-based designer Laura Sessa, who used Mediterranean colours to create a harmonious indoor atmosphere.Photo: SanLorenzoUp to eight guests can be accommodated in four staterooms: two guest cabins and a VIP suite located on the lower deck, and a master suite located between two levels with the bathroom and sleeping area on the main deck and the dressing room below.Photo: SanLorenzoThe asymmetric design of the SL96A has enabled the team to restructure the yacht’s layout to maximise volumes, redefine onboard living scenarios and reinforce the guests’ connection to the surrounding elements. The port-side gangway, for instance, has been eliminated to make an extra 10-square-metres of interior space available. She can also house a 4.5-metre tender on board.Photo: SanLorenzoPhoto: SanLorenzoPowered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M96L diesel engines with 1,947 hp each, the Sanlorenzo SL96A has an impressive top speed of 28 knots and cruises at 26 knots, while electric zero-speed stabilisers ensure the comfort of her guests at anchor.
