Following the sale of the 47.5-mere motor yacht Snow 5 - formerly known as Lilium - by IYC during the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, the 494 GT yacht is now underway to her new home waters in Miami where she will be launched and delivered to her owner in the coming two weeks. Completed by the Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts in 2019, Snow 5 showcases Unique Yacht Design naval architecture and exterior lines with in-house designed interiors. The tri-deck yacht from the Bilgin 156 model is the second yacht in Bilgin’s 47.5-metre range following her sistership Starburst III (ex: Nerissa). Snow 5 is able to accommodate 10 guests in five generous staterooms, with the master suite featuring a balcony and a bed with an in-house designed headboard and a skylight above. Guests can be attended to by a crew of up to nine and can make use of a spacious beach club and sundeck Jacuzzi. The indoor furnishings are neutral and bright, with white and gold materials, brass, eucalyptus veneers, dark marbles and bronze mirrors found throughout. The steel-hulled yacht with an aluminium superstructure is powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 diesel engines with 1,148hp each that enable her to reach a top speed of 16 knots. At her cruising speed of 12 knots, Snow 5 has a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles.
