The 52.3-metre project Tala has made her way to Turquoise Yacht's Istanbul facility so the final outfitting process can begin. Having been stationed at the Turkish yard's Kocaeli shipyard for the majority of the construction period and sold recently, Tala is on track for delivery in March 2022.Photo: Turquoise YachtsThe 720 GT yacht has exterior styling by Miami-based studio DeBasto Designs and her interior is by H2 Yacht Design. Inside, she offers nine guest staterooms with large exterior deck areas dedicated to socialising and entertaining. For example, the sun deck features a hot tub, sun-pads, TV, day head, bar and BBQ.
“With Tala’s enormous volume, my objective was to make the exterior less bulky and give a feeling of a forward dynamic movement, rather than a static feel,” says Luiz DeBasto. “I wanted the design to show movement and purpose from any angle. I achieved this with the long ascending line from the swim platform all the way up to the mast and down to the pilothouse windshield.”Photo: Turquoise Yachts“The interior of Tala is set to reveal the diversity of our design studio’s abilities with the client opting for a rich traditional style with a colourful combination of classic details, burl veneers, marble flooring, and the interior will be lavishly embellished with gold highlights, adds Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design.
