Van der Valk prepares to launch new 28m explorer yacht Venera
Last week, Dutch shipyard Van der Valk moved their latest raised pilothouse motor yacht between facilities as they prepare to launch her in May 2020. The 28.5-metre yacht VeneraΒ features both an exterior and interior design by Guido de Groot Design, naval architecture by Jaron Ginton and an engineering platform by Diana Yacht Design. Photo: Van der Valk ShipyardThe New York loft-style interior has been devised to accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms including the main-deck master suite forward, two identical VIP suites and two twin cabins on the lower deck. The lower deck is also home to a saloon with a formal dining space, with the option to extend the lounge aftwards into an alfresco dining area with a U-shaped settee.

The undercover section will comprise a U-shaped seating area around a dining table to port as well as a large wet bar with a compact L-shaped settee. Here, guests can also enjoy the whirlpool tub flanked by integrated sunbeds, under which a jet ski will be stored. Ample water toy storage can be found throughout the vessel along with a tender crane with an 800 kg capacity.
