Top-tier shuffle: Yachtzoo has announced a change in partners

Yachtzoo has announced a change of partnership after fifteen years with Darrell Hall, Kirsten Ringsing, Paola Scalabrino and Chris Richardson. The brokerage firm was founded in Monaco in 2007, and the latter two partners – Paola Scalabrino and Chris Richardson – have now sold their shares to focus solely on the sales and charter side of operations. Yachtzoo management Paola and Chris will remain at Yachtzoo respectively as charter broker and sales broker, while Darrell Hall is now the majority shareholder and partner of the company. Kristen Ringsing will remain as the second main partner, and Carin Zemel has joined as new partner and compliance officer.

Carin Zemel has assumed a number of different commercial roles in the telecom industry in the Netherlands. She also holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She’s been based in Monaco since 2006, working at family offices and Corporate Service Providers.

“I am genuinely excited about this new partner structure for Yachtzoo, it’s a win-win for all. I’m happy Chris and Paola got to collect on the fruits of their hard work over the years. For myself, it feels like a new fresh energy for the company. Having now a controlling interest helps streamline leadership and the decision-making process. It will make our business more dynamic and sharper,” Darrell Hall commented.
