Yachtzoo offers Sealion, a Dutch beauty

During a recent visit to Antibes, our team was invited by Yachtzoo on board Sealion, a 1992 Hakvoort, designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder. We were welcomed on board on her generously proportioned aft deck by Yachtzoo's broker, Dan O'Neill, who gave us a full tour of this beautifully maintained 31.50m Dutch yacht.

The yacht is accessed by means of a telescopic hydraulic pasarelle aft. Sealion features a beautiful round stern, and her aft deck provides a classically shaded dining option. The yacht has side-decks providing access to the fore-deck on either-side.

Sealion's main salon has a lounge area aft, a bulkhead mounted TV facing the couches aft, and a classic interior dining table forward.

The lower deck cabins are accessed by a staircase in the salon to starboard. The guest accommodation constitutes a generous VIP aft, with ensuite bathroom, and a spacious dressing room. The two twin cabins are further forward, and both have ensuite bathrooms. The engine room is centrally located, and the crew quarters are found forward of this area.

Back on the main deck, the master cabin is forward, and has an ensuite bathroom with shower, WC and bidet and double washbasins. The bed is centrally located with wardrobes located forward, either side of the vanity table. The yacht's galley, located to portside on the main deck, is accessed via a door that comes into the passageway next to the dining room. From the galley the crew can also access the crew quarters by a staircase forward to the lower deck, as well as the port side-deck by way of an access door.

The bridge deck, accessible by stairs just forward of the dining room, has a lounge area that can be opened to the bridge or sealed off by means of blinds. There is a coffee table and an L-shaped couch and two armchairs. There is a bar and fridge for drinks storage and dispensing.

On the bridge aft deck there are two new tenders and their centrally located launching crane. There is an exterior dining area between the tender deck and the bridge-deck lounge. The bridge itself is well equipped and very spacious for this size of vessel, and has two access doors to the side-decks and the wing stations.

The exterior bridge-deck is teak covered from forward of the tender installations.

Access to the engine room by the crew is directly from the crew area. The crew area has a suitable mess area for dining and off-watch crew to relax. There are three ensuite crew cabins for a total of up to six crew. There is a large storage area below the crew quarters.

The spacious sundeck is accessed by means of a stair from the bridge-deck to starboard. There are two generous sunbathing pads forward, with storage for the mattresses underneath, as well as two further storage cupboards.

Sealion is well maintained throughout and is attractively offered at € 5,750,000 by Yachtzoo.
