With more than 3,000 visitors, the first edition of YARE; the yachting after sales &amp; refit exhibition, that took place in Viareggio from March 31st to April 2nd, closed with a gratifying and wishful positive balance. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134745/image/large-6c6308c922c0b0584c575e74cee234f0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134745">In the 110 booths inside the seven tents placed along via Coppino, for a total surface of 4,000 covered sq meters, during the three days of the event passed 3,011 visitors coming from 33 countries: builders, brokerage agencies, designers, system fitters, registers, marinas, chose the exclusive windows offered by this event to present their works, their skills, their services and to compare with other operators of the refit and the after-sales world. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/134746/image/large-fd36381cb86a7cf4d9c60d27faf21167.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/134746">These YARE figures are certainly very interesting for a "first edition”, which the industry has previously missed, since YARE is the only exhibition in the world dedicated to this more and more strategic sector of the yachting industry. From YARE came a well co-ordinated and well organised image of Viareggio superyacht industry, thanks also to the presence in the show of primary and excellent yards as Codecasadue, Azimut-Benetti, Sanlorenzo, Perini Navi, Fipa, Overmarine Group, Polo Nautico, Vismara Marine and companies dedicated to the after sales services as Gruppo Nautico italiano, Tecnopool, Yachtique, Arpeca, U.D.I.N.A., Viareggio BaSe Refitting. As representatives of the European industry, YARE welcomed shipyards as Lürssen, Feadship, Monaco Marine, the Riviera Yachting Network, NCP and from the Dominican Republic IBC and Marina Casa de Campo; further more prestigious registers were exhibiting as Lloyd's register, Bureau Veritas and Rina. Some of the most important and attractive moments for the visitors were the out of exhibition events, meaning the open boatyards, workshops and shops that allowed people to directly see and check the quality of a substantial part of the supply chain of the Italian yachting industry. The most important Italian and European nautical magazines were present to report on the event. Conceived as a B-to-B event to let the companies show their offer and their know-how and to meet an increasing demand due to over 4,200 largest 30 meters superyachts floating YARE also offered them the possibility to discuss the subject through conferences, workshops and seminars organised by the Lucca CNA and from Navigo, a Company based in Viareggio. In actual fact, the average length of the current in-build yachts in Turkey is 49 meters, with many of these yachts being motor yachts and motor-sailors as well as gulets. The country is the number one destination for gulet charter, but also offers guests the opportunity to experience the breathtaking coastline onboard a variety of different types of yacht.

The new biofuel is produced from 100% renewable raw materials and marks the start of the company’s agreement to target decarbonisation. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/272427/image/large-d480b3b5acb4e7469238cb589bbb0ff1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/272427">HVOlution is made from 100% Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and is produced in Eni Sustainable Mobility’s Venice and Gela biorefineries. The company uses raw waste materials and vegetable residues, as well as oils generated from crops that do not compete with the food chain.From Summer 2023, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6046" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut-Benetti Group (Company)">Azimut|Benetti Group</a> will introduce HVOlution to replace the fossil-based fuel currently used by the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/358" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azimut Yachts (Company)">Azimut</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/212" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Benetti SpA (Company)">Benetti</a> brands.
