On the 22nd of February, from 16.00h until 21.00h, the Holland Yachting Group (HYG) Young Professionals will host their first Conference in De Gruyter Fabriek in Den Bosch. The aim of the conference is to share knowledge and experience amongst like-minded young professionals who work in the Dutch Yacht Industry, and to work together on improving the “Holland brand”; Think Yachts, Think Holland.
The programme will start with three inspiring speakers from the Dutch yacht industry; Marnix Hoekstra, commercial director of Vripack, will share his views on how to be innovative in superyacht design and engineering. He will be joined on stage by Jane Vermaas of Bolidt, who pioneered in the yacht industry with their Esthec products, and Jaap van der Rest, who besides his job at the ING Bank also owns the shipyard Statement Marine.
After these three speakers have inspired the Young Professionals, the stage will be taken by three start-up companies who will have to convince the audience that their innovative products can benefit the Dutch yacht industry.
The evening will draw to a close with the opportunity to meet other young professionals and enjoy a food-buffet and a few drinks.
The event is sponsored by SuperYacht Times, YachtsXL, De Gruyter Fabriek, Amels, Esthec, HISWA Holland Yachting Group, MarQuip, Moonen Yachts, Mulder, Oceanco, Radio Zeeland DMP, Tribal and Van Berge Henegouwen.
The conference is open to all Young Professionals (< 35 years) who work at one of the HYG members. For more information and to sign up, click here: http://yachting.nl/EN/645/YP-conference-2013.html
