YPI and Northrop & Johnson sell superyacht Monte Carlo

A Joint Central Agency held by Matt Albert at YPI and Kevin Merrigan at Northrop & Johnson, the sale marks the latest success for the ongoing collaboration, developed over many years, between the two brokerage houses.

Our companies compliment each other very well,” says YPI Sales & New Construction Broker Matt Albert. “Wes Sanford worked tirelessly to ensure the deal completed smoothly. Kevin and his team are always a pleasure to work with.”

Monte Carlo was built in 1988 with a stunning multi-million dollar refit carried out in 2006.

She is an outstanding motor yacht,” says Matt. “She has all the Amels build quality we expect, a proven trans-Atlantic capability and range, and at an Asking Price of US$5,900,000 she quite simply offered the very best value and pedigree at a sixth of the cost of building new.”

News of the sale of Monte Carlo comes just days after YPI Brokerage announced the in-house sale of its 54-metre Amels 177 Limited Edition Series - Hull 458 - and just two weeks after the Group’s impressive presence at both this year’s Cannes & Monaco Yacht Shows.

It is very important today that we are able to offer clients a variety of yachts to suit all tastes and requirements,” says YPI Group CEO Bertrand Vogèle. “It is even more important our yachts are of the highest quality. All our efforts today are focused on finding the very best quality yachts for our clients – those listed publicly on the market but also those a little more privately announced.”

Monte Carlo was for sale through YPI Brokerage at an Asking Price of US$ 5,900,000. She was purchased by her new owner with the help of Grace Zeilmann from Grace Zeilmann Yachts.
