Yachting Partners International are pleased to confirm the ‘for-sale’ showing of 49-metre Campanella, M.Y. Mary-Jean, at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show 2009.
Built in 1981, Mary-Jean underwent a multi-million dollar refit in the Spring of 2005 which included a 4-metre hull extension, the addition of a Jacuzzi structure on the front of the sun deck, new mast structure, complete new Owners and Guest accommodation, new Crew accommodation and galley and full Lloyds Classification. A further upgrade in 2008 saw her complete hull and superstructure being fully re-painted and new teak decks were laid throughout.
She can accommodate up to 12 Guests in seven cabins with a unique layout offering no less than three staterooms on the main deck (a full-width master and two VIPs) and four staterooms on the lower deck with two doubles and two three-berth cabins.
“Mary-Jean is a wonderful yacht we have worked with for years, both for her chartering and management," comments Alex Braden. “She is a yacht that never creases to impress me – and I’m not that easy to impress. Whoever buys Mary-Jean now is getting one of the best built heavy sea-boats I know. She is a safe boat, exceptionally economical on fuel and surprisingly fast."
Mary-Jean is also known for her impressive layout design and ingenious use of space.
“For those familiar with the classic British TV series, ‘Doctor Who’, we call her ‘The Tardis’,” continues Alex. “At 49-metres she can get into a great many ports but her use of space and the room for facilities on board would be befitting of a much larger yacht…she has a very impressive master stateroom, two saloons, a fully equipped gym, a very well-sized engine room and workshops. And that’s before we even start talking about the sundeck and Jacuzzi area…”
Mary-Jean now comes up for sale as her Owner expects delivery of his next yacht in 2010.
“We are very proud to be showing Mary-Jean at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show,” adds Bertrand Vogèle. “She is a yacht designed for those with a genuine love for the sea and yachting. Her Owner has poured a lot of time, energy and money into her over the years and it shows - she is in first class condition. Whoever buys her now, can rest assured they are getting a solidly constructed yacht designed with taste and being sold at a very realistic price. She is a very special yacht and we have no doubt will sell her very quickly.”
M.Y. Mary-Jean is now on offer at USD 11,000,000.
