Zodiac introduces new Eclipse™ 570 yacht tender

The new Eclipse 570 will make its U.S. boat show debut at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. "The Eclipse 570 is an exceptionally well-thought-out, premium quality yacht tender,” says JJ. Marie, President and CEO of ZNA. The user-friendly 570, with all its fine details, good looks and passenger comforts, is the culmination of decades of experience in working with yacht captains and crews. The 570 also benefits from the precision engineering, durability and ease of maintenance stemming from Zodiac’s extensive military boatbuilding experience.

Passenger Comfort
The Eclipse takes passenger comfort to an entirely new level. The 19-foot tender has three distinct areas of upholstered seating for nine passengers, all protected by bow and main canopies. The aft area consists of an aft bench for two facing forward and a double seat on the aft end of the engine compartment lid for two facing aft. Another two passengers can sit comfortably on the seating area forward of the engine compartment lid. The forward and side bench seats of the bow area will hold the remaining three passengers. All passengers are assured safe and elegant boarding with handholds and boarding assisting poles located near the recessed boarding steps and swim platform.

Easy to Use, With Minimum Maintenance
The Eclipse is extremely user friendly for crew as well as passengers. It has teak-colored, non-skid treads on deck, on the boarding steps and on the swim grid. They are easy to clean and do not require wiping up when passengers board with muddy shoes. All upholstery on board is made of durable and easy-to-clean Sunbrella fabric and all cushion covers are easily removed. The Eclipse comes with canopies that can be permanently stowed, but are as easy to deploy, as they are to remove for long-term storage. The 570 comes with polished, stainless steel metal hardware, which reduces maintenance, and LED lights are used throughout. The 570’s inboard diesel engine also runs on the same fuel as the mother ship.

Safe and Dependable
The Eclipse 570 is NMMA approved to American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards and is built as a Zodiac facility with ISO 9000 Quality Standard System certification. Each 570 includes the patented Durarib foam collar that essentially eliminates any chance of operating failure in the unlikely event of the collar’s outer skin being punctured or damaged. In fact, the 570’s outer skin is the same material used on heavy-duty military inflatable boats.
