Zodiac reveals detailed plans of new ProJet 420 TC4

Zodiac International, the world’s longest established RIB and Inflatable manufacturer, is revealing detailed plans of the latest ProJet 420 TC4 model at the 2008 Collins Stewart London Boat Show. Due to hit British shores in March 2008, the new ProJet 420 is a high performance, luxury tender that combines the safety and security of a RIB with the sheer fun and enjoyment of a jet.

A descendant of the 2007 ProJet 350 TC4 model, the ProJet 420 features a 98hp, 75cc, 4-stroke turbocharged engine with jet propulsion and a closed circuit liquid cooling system, providing a fast yet reliable ride. It also has a built in 55 litre fuel tank which offers a long cruising range, ideal for day trips.

For plenty of enjoyment on the water, this optimal performance craft is capable of carrying up to six people, planes easily with several passengers onboard and is great for watersport enthusiasts, especially water skiers. It also has a high standard specification often desired on larger RIBs including an aft locker, a swimming platform, retractable bathing ladder, water ski towing ring and navigation lights.

Designed with an extra low profile and steering wheel that tilts down, most cranes will have no difficulty lifting the lightweight, 4.20m (13”9’) ProJet 420 aboard. The buoyancy tubes are produced from Zodiac’s exclusive SHARC(™) DUOTEX(™), an ultra-hardwearing yet easy to clean material. These are also removable allowing for easy storage, servicing and maintenance. The elegant and compact high performance craft is an ideal sail or motorboat tender.

The ProJet 420 starts at £20495.00 including VAT.
