Zuccon International Project has unveiled a new design for CRN, to be used on an existing platform for the yard's Explorer category. Project Teseo is a 50 metre semi-custom Expedition yacht available with several different layouts.
Bernardo Zuccon, in charge of design at Zuccon International Project, commented: “One key theme was definition of a flexible functional character capable of offering a variety of different opportunities for life on board, dynamic spaces that change with the needs of the person using the boat: a number of areas on various decks have been set aside to be transformed and adapted in response to potential differences in the requirements of clients who choose to interpret the product in a more traditional way – setting sail to experience everything the sea has to offer – without giving up all the comforts of a classic displacement vessel while maintaining the formal and volumetric features typical of the Expedition Yacht.”
The main deck will accommodate two tenders measuring 8 and 5 metres, as well as a selection of water toys. Once there are all launched, the whole deck can be transformed into a big lounge area
One of the variables in the design however, is the possibility of creating a tender bay which can double as a beach club at the stern.
Several layout options offer different solutions. For example, in one option the owners' suite covers the full width of the main deck at the stern, with four guest cabins are on the lower deck, yet another option is to place the the owners’ cabin on the lower deck along with two of the guest cabins, with two more guest cabins on the main deck.
