UK-based builder Princess Yachts has announced the latest edition in its S class series, the 25.43-metre Princess S80 yacht. The flagship yacht is described by the shipyard as “stylish, contemporary and seamlessly executed” and features hand-crafted finishes by Princess’ craftspeople in Plymouth.The Princess S80 follows the design DNA of the S class range with sweeping lines and a single level main deck. She has been designed in-house by the team at Princess in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and the Italian design house, Pininfarina.The Princess S80 yacht is an evolution of the S72 launched at boot Düsseldorf 2023 with a striking yet elegant exterior profile. She features full-length windows along her main deck that extend to her cockpit canopy to provide a sheltered area from the sun. “The design of the elongated sleek canopy shades the forward two-thirds of this area with an optional awning taking care of the remaining third,” explained Andy Lawrence, Director of Design at Princess Yachts. The saloon glazing extends far back into the cockpit, cocooning the forward dining area to create shelter from the wind without obstructing your view.”  Her versatile layout allows her to be operated and managed by her owner with the option of an enclosed helm plus crew accommodation for up to three. Her saloon is flooded with light from her panoramic windows and provides a space for seating, as well as her helm controls.“The concept of the Princess S80 focuses on an uncompromising main deck sociable living space close to the water with three distinct spaces, sunbathing, lounging, and dining, usable simultaneously without conversions,” added Andy Lawrence. The lower deck of the Princess S80 features four ensuite staterooms for up to eight guests, with her full-beam master suite adorned with organic furnishings and complemented by accents and finishes of natural timber. Soft lighting helps to accentuate her hand-crafted furniture and creates a contemporary but calming atmosphere.The Princess S80 boasts impressive outdoor living areas with multiple seating areas and a wet bar with a barbecue. A converting dining table and an outdoor TV on rise and fall mechanism are also available to adapt this area for every occasion.Regarding propulsion, the Princess S80 yacht is equipped with twin MAN engines providing speeds up to 34 knots. There is also the option for vector fin and gyro stabilisers for greater control in challenging sea conditions.
