The yacht was launched in 2007 at Northern Marine in the States to a design by Jonathan Quinn Barnett and forms part of the yard’s 151 Tri-Deck series.

Superyacht After Eight cruising in Vancouver

Recently seen cruising off Vancouver Island in Canada is the 46 metre superyacht After Eight. Launched by Northern Marine in 2007, After Eight was the first yacht in the 151 Tri-Deck series. The second yacht, Bella Bri (now Freedom), was launched in the following year. Both yachts were designed by the talented team of Jonathan Quinn Barnett, who among others also designed the interiors of the 126 metre Octopus. After Eight is privately used by her Canadian owner and she can often be found in the Vancouver area.

The award-winning American yacht designer is currently commissioned to provide the interior design for a new 55m motor yacht currently under construction at Delta Marine, of Seattle. The yacht will be completed in 2010. In 2007 Northern Marine launched the After Eight, the first 151ft motor yacht, and recently saw the launch of the second 151ft yacht, Bella Bri. Also, a gorgeous 142 foot new build design for Crescent Custom Yachts is currently under construction at the same Vancouver shipyard. And last but not least, the design studio has completed the preliminary designs for a new 64 foot motor yacht for Horizon Yachts.
