Having acted as Central Agents for the charter of the 37 metre Sunseeker since she was delivered new to her current owners in 2007, Camper &amp; Nicholsons International have now announced their appointment as central agents for the sale of The Snapper. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/137464/image/large-aa39c09f5efbfd1ee4efd753255c6bb7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/137464">This yacht was conceived, planned and built in close collaboration with the builders and one of the most prominent names in the high tech world of Formula One and her success and indeed present condition is testament to the no compromise policy applied throughout. Having ordered a new larger Sunseeker, Alex and Gaston Lees-Buckley are delighted to have been chosen by the owners to represent them in finding a new home for the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/382">The Snapper</a>. Lying in the South of France and constantly maintained regardless of cost, she is asking GBP 6,700,000. The yacht is owned by a well known Formula One entrepreneur. The Snapper is often based in Port Camille Rayon of Golfe Juan and can be chartered in the Mediterranean. By Merijn de Waard

Sunseeker the British builder of production yachts has added a second superyacht to its range having unveiled the all new 34 metre at the London Boat Show on January 11th. Depending on the owner’s requirement, the stern garage offers enough space for a tender which on this craft includes a 5.4 metre Novurania tender and two jet skis. A choice of powerful twin diesel engines provides up to 4800hp, enabling this yacht to achieve speeds in excess of 25 knots. Performance is complemented by leading-edge technology throughout, such as computerised engine management systems and the very latest navigation and communication equipment – making island hopping or extended cruising equally effortless. Other mechanical options chosen by this owner include an Alfa Laval fuel cleaning centrifuge, a Hamman waste water treatment plant, a frequency converter and air conditioning units with tropical specifications. New Sunseeker 34 Metre: La Volpe

Sunseeker Charters began its third year on a high wave with confirmed charter reservations on a range of vessels, including the magnificent Sunseeker 37m Trideck Yacht, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/382">The Snapper</a>. Sunseeker Charters snaps up bookings at London Boat Show

Italian classification society RINA has classed the first of Sunseeker’s new 37 Metre megayachts. The Snapper is the largest and most ambitious build in Sunseeker’s history. The new 37 Metre is the largest semi-custom production motoryacht ever to be built in the UK, at just under 124 feet and 200 tonnes. Built under RINA Charter Class, the vessel has been awarded unrestricted classification for commercial service. Two further 37 Metre yachts are under construction by Sunseeker, both to RINA Charter Class and RINA Pleasure Vessel Rules. Paolo Moretti, Yachting Area Manager of RINA, says, “Our investment in knowledge and improved services for the growing yacht industry has borne fruit with these important vessels. We have a long standing partnership with Sunseeker and we are now opening a Technical Excellence Centre in the UK to work with the resurgence of UK-based yacht building. RINA updated its pleasure yacht and charter class rules for the classification of yachts for private and commercial use, during 2006. The new rules embrace a degree of flexibility which allows designers and shipyards to identify the best solutions in compliance with the highest safety criteria, while facilitating timely surveys and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained throughout the life of the vessel. RINA’s classed charter yacht fleet now numbers 108 yachts, almost fifty per cent of which are newbuildings. The charter class harmonises the safety rules of various flag state administrations, combining safety criteria with design, construction and equipment requirements. By creating a reference instrument for the charter yacht sector, RINA is one step ahead of the expected development of international regulations liberalising the global charter market. The rules are sufficiently flexible to enable us to guarantee the best possible solutions for each type of craft and material.” Sunseeker is the world’s largest privately-owned yacht builder and the largest producer of motoryachts over 80 ft, and the new <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/YachtModel/381">37 Metre</a> tri-deck vessel highlights the resurgence of British shipbuilding with new shipyard facilities and an increased workforce.
