Her career, spanning over two decades, commenced with her enrolment at the Politecnico di Milano, where she pursued a master’s degree in yacht design.Her professional career encompasses pivotal roles. Beginning with her initial position at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/103" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Lazzarini & Pickering (Company)">Lazzarini Pickering studio</a> in Rome in 2005, she worked for the Latsis group. In 2006, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5407" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="m2atelier (Company)">Radovic</a> founded the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1430" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Stand By / Marijana Radovic (Company)">Stand By</a> studio in Belgrade and Athens. I realised that effective design surpasses mere aesthetics and instead underscores the intricate interplay between layout and spatial organisation. Yacht interiors, in particular, present a distinctive challenge, necessitating a keen mastery of space utilisation.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/283905/image/large-e67a3579c5e014dc26b1541af6d4a0dd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/283905">Could you share one of your most significant experiences in your career and what made it particularly memorable and significant for you?The most significant experiences in my career have arisen from the more challenging projects, where the effort to push boundaries leads to new perspectives on space. For instance, experimenting with a smaller yacht can yield insights that are applicable to larger projects, unveiling diverse possibilities for spatial arrangement and functionality. Personally, interior yacht design surpassed the confines of material elements; it is about creating a comfortable and pleasant cocoon-like space. While larger yachts may have abundant space, the true art lies in curating an environment that evokes a sense of luxury. It is akin to managing the interior of a boutique in Milan, while simultaneously developing and refining the interiors of a yacht over a three-year span. Through comprehensive engagement, we gain valuable insights into their preferences, infusing environmentally conscious principles into their decision-making processes. Our commitment to sustainable minimalism guides our interior design ethos. This emphasises purposeful material choices, opting for efficiency over excess. By integrating technology such as 3D modelling and integrated systems, we proactively anticipate and facilitate maintenance, mitigating the need for disruptive extensive overhauls. Amongst these is a yacht spanning around 80-metres. For instance, one yacht features a kitchen in the heart of the vessel, while others offer enhanced beach club experiences. These projects not only focus on innovative design elements but also consider the practical aspects of how the owners will utilise and live within these spaces.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/200100/image/large-c32892f0bb80fb1b2899453200122def.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/200100">Additionally, we are engaged with smaller yacht designs, where attention is given to layouts and circulation. It’s essential to strike a balance, avoiding overly vast areas that might make occupants feel lost. Instead, I emphasise creating well-proportioned suites and living spaces that provide a sense of connection to the surroundings, especially with the sea.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/200098/image/large-f8e5fb9f10073c76ad61ec72aec863a1.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/200098">Personally my ideal sleeping arrangement involves a direct and open link to the water. Vitters’ 56m Project 3083, now called Alea, was pulled out of the shed yesterday ahead of her launch today.

She features an interior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5407" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="m2atelier (Company)">M2Atelier</a> while her exterior was designed by the revered designer <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/6718" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Frers Design (Company)">Mani Frers</a>.&nbsp;She has an estimated volume of 320 GT with accommodation split between the owner’s en-suite stateroom in the bow and four generous guest staterooms in the aft ship. The wide beam of the yacht allows for a large aft deck and beach club. Two tenders will be carried on board, one under the tender hatch at the bow and one 8.5-metre in the stern garage.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/227682/image/large-e9291fabb7a1d1f2df5ebe262714cddd.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/227682">She is separated from her competitors with retractable v-bollards that accentuate her flush deck aesthetics. Her forepeak sees three v-drums that handle headsail changes with ease while the submarine v-anchor system provides the bow and foredeck with a practical yet aesthetically clean finish.The yacht will be launched Friday this week. After a period of mast stepping, tuning and sea trials she will then be handed over to the owner, on schedule, before the summer.

Vitters’ 56m Project 3083 launched

Vitters’ Project 3083 has been launched from the Vitter’s facility in Zwartsluis, Netherlands.
