Then, in 1999, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/12" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="CRN Spa (Company)">CRN</a> became part of the Ferretti Group and built GRP hulled motor yachts based on two models and steel-hulled motor yachts. In recent years, the yard has focused on large steel-hulled motor yachts. She features an interior by Janet Leroy, based on a concept design by French interior firm Larvor. Superyachts Blue Eyes London and Samadhi in Port Adriano

Superyacht designer Zuccon International Project, ended 2012 with the November 17 launch of superyacht J’Ade, a 60 metre designed By Zuccon and built by CRN, which was followed by the January 12 launch in Ancona of Chopi Chopi, an 80 metre superyacht, also built at CRN. These two milestones have been the start of the Zuccon Superyacht Design brand, a new division set up to focus exclusively on the study and customisation of new large superyacht projects. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142576/image/large-3480b56639e53b99fd6766248f6e52b4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142576">Zuccon International Project began designing superyachts with the 46 metre Al Fahed back in 1986, built of steel and aluminium at the Baglietto shipyard in Varazze. This launch was followed by various other projects of different sizes, which have added to the Rome based studio’s yacht design experience. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142577/image/large-5cfbd973f029192eadabe9038dfac7cc.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142577">The studio started working closely with the CRN shipyard in Ancona, which has built many of Zuccon’s projects, such as the 60 metre Blue Eyes, the 43 metre Lady Trudy and the 60 metre Darling’s Danama, to mention just a couple of the most recent projects. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/142578/image/large-dc0c3608dab8ad2437049868c4924306.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/142578">The designers are currently working on the completion of five superyachts: in addition to the 80 metre Chopi Chopi and the 60 m J’Ade (CRN 125), it has a 74 metre yacht (CRN 131) and two 43 m semi-displacing yachts under construction. With more and more large yachts on the design table, the studio has decided to launch a new brand: Zuccon SuperYacht Design. Zuccon International Project or ZIP already had a division focussed primarily on the larger superyachts, but the establishment of Zuccon SuperYacht Design gives a further boost to this field of work, while maintaining strong ties with the brand’s history, tradition and design heritage. Zuccon SuperYacht Design will be primarily under the responsibility of the new generation in the studio, Martina and Bernardo Zuccon, the daughter and son of the studio’s founders. The Festival de la Plaisance in September sees CNI welcoming a number of listings including the 28 metre Maca from Benetti Sail Division, the 27.5 metre Aquila from Sanlorenzo, the 44.2 metre Idyllwild by Benetti, and the 33.9 metre Jiva from Sunseeker Yachts. Blue Eyes off Antigua

A metaphorical journey through the relish of the east, crossing through the silks of Venetian glories and docking in the depths of the Coral Sea among madrepores and shells, sea creatures and colourful corals. Like one of the vessels of the old British Navy which sails the seas towards the east in discovery of the still unknown world, full of grandeur, the most recent 60m long Blue Eyes model from the CRN shipyard, follows routes full of memories of the love for the ancient Mandarin China and the various expressions of the sea. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/129517/image/large-0c908187031f8797d7d992a255bc53a0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129517"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/129518/image/large-060ee94efca7c7a0552644290ddec026.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129518"> <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/129519/image/large-250aa70bee9415b352772ce15e057a8e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129519">Blue Eyes is primarily an expression of the Owner’s wife personality that has actively participated in the creation of every single detail of this ship, from the design of the name which she created herself to the choice of its decor to the tiniest details, for example, the curtain tiebacks, each one different from the other and carefully studied and handmade with evocative themes of ancient China and the sea. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/129520/image/large-b5f35c3b3fe393660e30d4ff847756ef.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129520">As soon as one gets on board, the theme of the journey becomes clear: an original work of art designed by the shipowner and purposely created as an alternative to the usual conversation area at the centre of the aft deck. The globe is incised in glass, illuminated with Swarovski which shines in the sunlight, as though indicating the route between different times and cultures which will be experienced by the guests on board this modern vessel.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/129521/image/large-adcf44cf9670e3b662081abec7e2bd2e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/129521">Blue Eyes is certainly a boat “with a difference”: aft, on the main deck, one is immediately embraced by a huge semicircular library at the centre of which stands an imposing white grand piano which strongly contrasts the dark polished mahogany walls. CRN’s  60 metre Blue Eyes joins Burgess Charter Fleet

CRN will have a strong presence at the upcoming season’s boat shows. The shipyard, specialised in the construction of mega-yachts in steel and aluminium, as well as composite materials, will be taking part in the two shows that open the season, held in Cannes and Monaco. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/128551/image/large-a160bb7f81455f002299250477f43107.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/128236">At the first of the mega-yacht shows, the Festival International de la Plaisance in Cannes, CRN will present the third hull of the new CRN 43 composite line, <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1379">Rubeccan</a>. She is a displacement-design maxi-yacht that can easily accommodate 10 passengers and 9 crewmembers. Built as a joint effort involving the CRN technical staff and the Zuccon International Project Firm, which handled the external layout, the interior furnishings and decorative scheme of this 43-metre vessel. CRN's presence at the upcoming season’s boat shows

On Saturday 9 May the CRN shipyard in Ancona launched hull number 126, Blue Eyes. The launch saw a flurry of blue confetti rain down on the 60 metre Blue Eyes. The inspiring ceremony, open to all the people of the city, took place against the charming backdrop of a warm spring sunset. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/127639/image/large-956ece00b10d6ae4d260f94b2ea075b5.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/127639">Numerous well known Italian business figures were on hand to witness the launch, including Brunello Cucinelli, Ettore Riello, Colaiacovo and Zeno Soave; fashion designer Alberta Ferretti was also present, as well as Ancona’s top city officials. The Castelferretti municipal band began playing around 6:00 pm, as the ceremony got underway with opening remarks from Norberto Ferretti, President of Ferretti S.p.A.: “All launches are thrilling, special events, which is why I always invite my friends to be on hand. There is always that moment of high suspense, as the ship slides down into the water all by itself, and all we can do is wait. This has definitely been a challenging year for our industry and our company” – noted the President – “but things are already starting to look up, which gives us all the more reason to celebrate. Add the fact that the owner of this new boat is a friend, and an Italian, we all have reason to be immensely proud” . CRN launches the 60m Blue Eyes

<div>A new contract, number <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/424">126</a>, marks the success of the CRN, which today has 5 vessels ranging in length from 54 to 72 metres simultaneously under construction. The first pieces of sheet metal were recently cut for this new 59-metre mega-yacht, further proof of the successful working relationship between the Zuccon International Project form and the technical staff of the CRN. </div><div>

Production activities also continue at full pace on the CRN’s 54, 57, 60 and 72 metre projects, scheduled to be launched over the next three years. 
</div><div>Hull number <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/424">126</a> of the shipyard in the Marches was created using the nautical platform of the 54-metre <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/600">Ability</a>, extended 5 metres in the stern and with a bow design, as part of this fully customised project, modified to be more streamlined and racy. </div><div>Scheduled for delivery in 2009, the vessel was designed through an attentive analysis of the wishes of the owner, who wanted an external layout with impressive volumes, but without sacrificing close contact with the sea. </div><div>With this in mind, a completely innovative area was created on the stern portion of the lower deck, designed to serve as a “beach club”. In fact, the stern hatch turns itself into a large bathing platform hanging just above the water, equipped with comfortable chaise lounges and usable as a solarium. Behind this area is a large internal space meant for absolute relaxation on the part of guests, who can enjoy the sea up-close on comfortable sofas placed in the shade. </div><div>The interior of the 59-metre vessel can easily accommodate 12 guests in six cabins, plus 14 crew members. </div>The distinctive feature of this vessel is the terrace of the owner’s suite, made from a platform that lowers itself over the sea, thanks to the use of a hatch that opens to a 90-degree angle and is outfitted as a balcony. A strongpoint of the CRN mega-yachts, the terrace is one of the customised features most frequently requested by owners: an innovation that has already become a tradition. A success achieved through attentive technical studies, combined with a striving for heights of luxury that never prove unattainable.<noscript></noscript>

CRN starts construction of a new 59-metre yacht

The unstoppable production of CRN projects made with steel and aluminium continues. With the recent delivered of the 60 metre mega-yacht MY GiVi, there are currently other 4 displacement mega-yachts under construction on the shipyard, completely custom from 54, 57, 60 and 72 metres. These vessels, which shall be launched within the next three years, along with the gliding line maxi-yachts in composite measuring 128 ft and 43 metres displacement, today they represent the true core business of the company, projected towards ever-ambitious goals and towards ever-demanding shipowners. Thus, ever-bigger and prestigious mega-yachts combined with highly specialized labour and with an engineering department capable of developing “custom” projects internally, enable CRN to position themselves among the world market leaders on the extra luxury leisure boating sector. The building of the CRN hull number 124 continues at full rate, a 72 metre mega-yacht, the biggest yacht in CRN history and one of the longest ever built in <country-region w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Italy</place></country-region>. The slender shape of the hull, together with specially modern and streamlined exterior, underlined from the marked and sharp bow, characterizes and at the same time distinguishes the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/337">Clarena II</a> within the outline of mega-yachts of these sizes. A true and complete gift for the onboard family life, the <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/337">Clarena II</a> has been developed to provide a perfect atmosphere of conviviality for guests, and to create a strong bond with the sea during different times of the day. The mega-yacht has a completely innovative area at the stern of the lower deck, which shall be made into a real “beach club” with more than 100 square meters. In fact, the stern hatch coverts itself into a good size beach on the water’s surface, equipped with an external shower and a sun area that can be used by the guests as a solarium. On the other hand, the joint effort with the Zuccon International Project firm has led to the building of <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/110">CRN 121</a> (54 m), <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/312">122</a> (57 m) and <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/313">123</a> (60 m).The first one to be launched into the water shall be vessel manufacture number <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/110">121</a> of the shipyard, a 54 metre mega-yacht, which is currently undergoing the completion phase for the painting and the preparation of the interior furnishings. A distinctive characteristic of this boat has to do with the small terrace on the captain’s suite, made as a real platform high up above the sea, this thanks to the use of a hatch that can be pulled down to 90 degrees and is made into a “balcony”. The vessel is expected to be launched in 2007.The completion of the hull and the superstructure, and also recently the preparation of the systems for the 57 metre (<a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/312">CRN 122</a>) mega-yacht has began, this vessel makes good use of the 54 metre ship platform. The three extra meters, requested by the customer, have enable to broaden all the spaces of the stern: the two lounges of the main deck and of the upper deck, the wellbeing area on the lower deck and especially on the sun deck, where a big pool shall be made with a length of 5.5 metres and a width of 2.2 metres. A distinctive feature of this vessel that offers the guest is the possibility of swimming against the current, this thanks to a water jet with adjustable speed.On the captain’s suite there is a small terrace high up above the sea, made like the 54 metre mega-yacht, this thanks to the use of a hatch that can be pulled down to 90 degrees.At last, the assembling of the superstructure of the new magnificent 60 metre vessel shall be completed shortly, vessel manufacture number <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/313">123</a>, the long-awaited launched is expected as the one for vessel number <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/312">122</a>, by 2008.The personalization of the internal and external layout of this mega-yacht is strong and innovative and takes the ship platform of the 60 metre GiVi.In fact each of the five decks has a purpose that is almost “hierarchical” and as a ranking pyramid it accommodates guest gradually towards the sun deck, where there is the sleeping area dedicated for the captain, along with a panoramic suite overlooking towards the bow and surrounded by semi-rounded large windows. Instead, the outer area of the sun deck was designed to spend pleasant evening moments with friends, and on the inside the sun deck there is actually a resin-made dance floor and a big bar supplied with all necessities.The other important customize intervention has to do with the extension on the stern on the closed part of the upper deck, which has granted the establishment of a very extensive panoramic lounge of 141 square metres.<noscript></noscript>
