Van der Valk’s motor yacht Venera has been sold and renamed Blondie. She was asking €9,850,000 at the time of her sale.

The Dutch shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2948" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Van der Valk Shipyard (Company)">Van der Valk</a> has announced the sale of a 23.55-metre explorer, Project Capella, set to be launched in spring 2023. The Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has announced the sale of a 24-metre explorer, Project Capella, set to be launched in spring 2023.

50 Years of Diana Yacht Design

More than 70 superyachts bearing the Diana name have set sail over the past 50 years. SYT marks the milestone.

Here, guests can also enjoy the whirlpool tub flanked by integrated sunbeds, under which a jet ski will be stored. Van der Valk prepares to launch new 28m explorer yacht Venera

Last week, Dutch shipyard Van der Valk moved their latest raised pilothouse motor yacht Venera as they prepare for her launch.

The Dutch yard Van der Valk has announced the sale of the third in its line of Explorer motor yachts. This 28-metre raised pilothouse motor yacht is being built for a repeat client of the yard. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/32319/image/large-0783c6efb220c68f77b374f517df2705.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/32319">This latest vessel follows on from the 25-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6412" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dutch Falcon25.0m (82'0&quot;)">Dutch Falcon</a> and the 37-metre<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/5022" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Santa Maria T36.8m (120'9&quot;)">&nbsp;Santa Maria T</a> in Van der Valk's explorer range. These yachts are designed and built to withstand the toughest environments and boast an extensive fuel capacity that enables them to make long ocean passages with ease.The 28-metre motor yacht features naval architecture from Ginton Naval Architects and Diana Yacht Design, with design and styling by Guido de Groot. In addition, her distinctive round-bilged hull is notable. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/32320/image/large-90dc41e8dbec3ad6a28c80eaddda3336.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/32320">An all-aluminium motor yacht sporting a fast displacement hull, her twin MAN V12 1650 hp engines will give an estimated top speed of 20 knots, with her VEEM VG145 zero-speed gyroscopic stabiliser system and two 32 kW Northern Lights generators ensuring onboard comfort at all times for owners and guests. She will cruise comfortably at approximately 17 knots.&nbsp;“We were genuinely honoured to receive this new commission order from a client after he has spent&nbsp;just one season enjoying his current Van der Valk,” explained marketing manager Yoeri Bijker. “Around half of all our current orders are being built for repeat clients, showcasing the very high satisfaction rates among owners. Aft of the engine room will be a generous crew area for four, consisting of two cabins with bunk beds and a large mess and pantry.&nbsp;In addition, this part of the yacht also contains a day head and well-appointed closed galley. Further aft will be the saloon with the formal dining space, with the option to extend the lounge aftwards into an al fresco dining area with a U-shaped settee.
