The combined length of the yachts sold exceeds 166-metres, while the combined value (taken from the last known asking prices) equals just under €65,000,000. Notably, these sales were not concentrated in one location and showcased the global nature of the brokerage firm.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/192437/image/large-d8907cb4caa0ad40281253f6fb655323.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/192437">The first from the flurry was the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/54132" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sold: Bloemsma & van Breemen’s 44m motor yacht Arete (2021-11-23 11:15:00 +0100)">sale of the 43.9-metre motor yacht</a> <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1451" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Arete43.9m (144'0&quot;)Bloemsma & van Breemen2013">Arete</a>, built by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/129" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bloemsma & van Breemen (Company)">Bloemsma &amp; van Breemen</a>. The high-performance yacht joined <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/159" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Burgess (Company)">Burgess</a> as what is known as a whisper listing during the period of price negotiations.&nbsp;<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/159" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Burgess (Company)">Burgess</a>’ success is a testament to the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Article/54061" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Market: Who is driving the post-pandemic boom? (2021-11-22 15:00:00 +0100)">post-pandemic uptick in sales</a>, and the company has reported significant interest in the sales and new build sector as more clients feel that now is the time to buy. This buoyancy has been experienced since the last quarter of 2020.&nbsp;“The past 13 to 14 months have been pretty extraordinary – almost relentless in the sales market. Yachts have been selling at really good prices and talks of ‘COVID deals’ was quite honestly a myth,” Jonathan Beckett, CEO of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/159" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Burgess (Company)">Burgess</a> commented. “We are delighted with the current sprint to the finishing line of 2021, but we aren’t there yet – still more deals to be done as we enter December!”

The sale of the 44 metre Bloemsma van Breemen BVB44M has just been confirmed by Jan-Jaap Minnema of Fraser Yachts, who represented the seller in the sale. The buyer of the BVB44M was represented by Robert Shepard of Edmiston and she had an asking price of € 18,000,000.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/156411/image/large-5023a2536d64972f4be2f2290e7f6abf.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/156411">Designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder with Vripack as the naval architects on the project, BVB44M was launched at the Dutch yard in August 2013. Fraser Yachts and Edmiston sell 44 metre BVB44M superyacht

Combining Bloemsma Van Breemen’s acclaimed proficiency in the construction and engineering field, BVB44M illustrates some of the most outstanding elements of motor yacht design. With an exterior and interior design by Pieter Beeldsnijder and naval architecture by Vripack, this excellent example of the Dutch yachting industry was launched in August 2013.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148346/image/large-bae1dc52943f11a90696833765fdaf18.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148346">Pieter Beeldsnijder designed both interior and exterior, and throughout the journey some elements of the original design requests were changed. The result? We’re left with a clean, simple yet highly appealing design that is increasingly rare in new build yachts today. Some small changes included a redesign of the sundeck, a new office configuration in the master stateroom, and the redesign of a dumb waiter. Spaciousness, however, was fully at the heart of Pieter Beeldsnijder’s layout. From the large engine room on the lower deck to the owners’ quarters, inclusive of a private lounge and terrace forward, the vessel almost creates an illusion of vast amounts of space in only 44m.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148347/image/large-a40f0e8ee5592af242682b7af3a59c8a.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148347"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148348/image/large-6ac346cb9f81c7f58336953e744b7b5e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148348">     <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148349/image/large-6d7ac1c253dbc925713d9cb9d7da69b4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148349">One of the most appealing things about Beeldsnijder’s interior design, aside, of course, from the illusion of space, is just how easily adaptable to any new owner’s individual tastes and requirements it can be, contributing to a truly unique and personal project. The beautifully designed interior is simplistic, with satin finish pear wood throughout. Her interior is elegant and understated, and as well as the addition of various items of loose furniture both inside and out, the owner can personally modify the upholstery as well as the photo panels in several of the rooms to make BVB44M truly their own.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148350/image/large-cb1255e0359bfd95c43c6406ef3e37d7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148350"><img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148351/image/large-a9748c4e4e838f5d99d177c9bc43aa8e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148351">      <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/148352/image/large-d25364f9202f0c6a1d1839821bafb757.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/148352">There is no bridge deck in the conventional sense on the yacht as the wheelhouse is located on a semi-raised forward section of the main deck. The rest of the main deck features a lounge, dining room, galley and wheelhouse, all with surprisingly generous ceiling heights - again, contributing to that feeling of vast amounts of space. The lower deck contains four guest staterooms - two doubles and two twins - a captain’s suite, four crew cabins and a good-sized lazarette that houses the jet skis and other water sports toys. All elements of the yacht are carefully designed to cater to everything guests on board would desire. In addition to a lavish stateroom, this includes a fantastic lounge and a terrace forward. This counts equally for the large engine room on the lower deck as the voluminous sun deck. With generous seating and sunbathing areas available for all guests as well as a spa pool and fantastic dining place, the yacht provides a sanctuary for relaxation and luxury. The simplistic and expansive design creates a home-like feel on a spectacular getaway. This combines with elements of the design such as the amount of effort clearly put into the sound installation, providing pleasantly low noise levels to, again, add to that perfect mix of a homely yet luxuriously comfortable escape. Bloemsma Van Breemen launch 44 metre superyacht

Photos and text by Maarten JanssenEarlier this week, I visited Bloemsma Van Breemen in the Netherlands, who are close to completing the build of an exceptional 44-metre motoryacht. The yacht, which has a striking exterior from the boards of Pieter Beeldsnijder and first-class naval architecture by Vripack, has been at the yard for quite some time, as her original owner had to back out of the project midway through the build, leaving the project on hold for a couple of years.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/144214/image/large-6f4fbffc3f67c1edfddb2cb309c9b108.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/144051">Now, with new investors in place, the yard restarted the project, and the yacht will be launched this June. Some small changes were made to her design, such as a redesign of the sundeck, a new office configuration in the master stateroom, and the redesign of a dumb waiter. Spaciousness however is is still at the heart of Pieter Beeldsnijder’s layout. Construction update on 44 metre Bloemsma Van Breemen

Bloemsma Van Breemen in the Netherlands is close to completing the build of an exceptional 44-metre motoryacht. This has required considerable skill on behalf of the Bloemsma Van Breemen craftsmen.Due for launching in June, the yacht has a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Bloemsma Van Breemen set to launch 44 metre superyacht

A 44-metre (144’) superyacht currently under construction at the Bloemsma &amp; van Breemen yard in the north of Holland is nearing completion. The project, BVB44M, was put on hold for some time, after her original Dutch owners had to abandon the project, but the yard is now completing the yacht with an exterior and interior design by Pieter Beeldsnijder and naval architecture by Vripack. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/143243/image/large-27d45cdaaaa4c5b72fe4d0d5ed677d17.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/143243">The yacht features an upper deck dedicated to the owners. In addition to a luxurious stateroom, the owners will have their own private lounge and a terrace forward. Guests will not miss out on the pleasures of the al fresco life, however. Free Spirit for sale through YPI Brokerage

Work is continuing apace on the construction of two luxurious superyachts at the Dutch yard Bloemsma Van Breemen: A 41-metre (134 ft) sailyacht from the boards of Ed Dubois and a 44-metre (144 ft) motoryacht designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder. Both projects are well underway and expected to be delivered in the spring and autumn of 2009 respectively. The yacht will also be state of the art in terms of technologies and systems, ranging from electrically controlled windows that dim from dark to light and back to a comprehensive audio-video installation. The rest of the main deck features a lounge, dining room, galley and wheelhouse. The lower deck contains four guest staterooms, a captain’s suite, four crew cabins and a good-sized lazarette that houses the jet skis and other watersports toys. Bloemsma Van Breemen, a yard update. Part two

Bloemsma &amp; Van Breemen announces a new contract for a 43.5m (142ft) motor yacht. The yacht will be designed by Dutch designer Pieter Beeldsnijder. After the successful delivery of Flying Eagle (2005) and Griffioen (2006) this will be another success for the Makkum based shipyard. Hull BN141 will be built to Lloyds classification and will comply to the MCA standards. She will be powered by twin caterpillar diesels and delivery is scheduled for mid 2009.<noscript></noscript>
