Chinese shipbuilder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">Heysea Yachts</a> is celebrating its third yacht launch of the year, with the 33.1-metre Asteria 108 yacht hitting the water for the first time on 11th May. 2020 is already proving to be a busy year for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">Heysea</a> so far, with the shipyard<a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/asteria-126-yacht-launched" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">&nbsp;launching its first Asteria 126 yacht in March</a> and the Heysea Atlantic 115 <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yachts/dopamine">Dopamine</a> back in <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/yacht-dopamine-launch">January</a>. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/119734/image/large-b5b3dd63acbb8479ecac64c9dddb993b.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/119734">As the 10th hull of the Asteria 108 model - the first model of the Asteria series to be released by the shipyard - the all-GRP 186 GT yacht has been designed inside and out by her builder. On board accommodation is for up to eight guests across four staterooms, with a crew of two also housed in two cabins. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/119732/image/large-119af51a520bbe86376fd85d108cd2a0.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/119732"><img src="/uploads/store/photo/119733/image/large-6e0119b9bd88204720cd9ed93c12b669.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/119733">Power to the vessel is provided by twin Caterpillar diesel engines with 1925 hp each, which enable her to reach a maximum speed of 23 knots and cruise comfortably at 18 knots. With delivery expected for mid-June, the Asteria 108 yacht will remain in Hong Kong for six months before beginning her journey towards Melbourne in Australia. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/119731/image/large-14409fda4b4d3e83a3cd0b63687ed621.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/119731">In other news, the shipyard has also announced that the hull and superstructure of the eleventh Asteria 108 have been completed and are set to be joined in the immediate future. The eleventh Asteria 108 yacht has been extended to 34.1 metres and features a multi-functional cabana and a large-scale French window located in her saloon, with the aim of bringing the ocean into her interior spaces.&nbsp;

<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">Heysea Yachts</a> have reported that a fire broke out in the shipyard's docks damaging the <a href="https://www.superyachttimes.com/yacht-news/yacht-dopamine-launch" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="">recently launched</a> 35.2-metre <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/6332" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Dopamine35.2m (115'6&quot;)Heysea Yachts">Dopamine</a>. At around 08:00 on May 9, procedures to tackle the fire commenced and the emergency services were called. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/110129/image/large-008ddc7b99e5b060ba37621dc4e78ce2.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/110129">The fire was extinguished with no reported injuries or damage to any other yachts. 35m yacht Dopamine launched by Heysea Yachts

The 35.2m yacht Dopamine has been launched. Built by the Chinese shipyard Heysea Yachts, Dopamine belongs to the Heysea Atlantic 115 range.

Construction on<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2561" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heysea Yachts (Company)">&nbsp;Heysea's</a> Atlantic 115 superyacht Dopamine is well underway at the yard’s facility in the Guangdong province of China. Construction on the motor yacht officially began in March 2018 after her keel was laid in September 2017. She was sold to her new owner this June, who put together a team to oversee her build. <img src="/uploads/store/photo/19666/image/large-688bc370ce778e1854eabd95e909e112.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/19666">Being built to RINA and MCA classifications, the GRP semi-displacement motor yacht will measure 35.2-metres in total, with a beam of 7.68 metres. She will feature an exterior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1511" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Unielle Yacht Design (Company)">Unielle Yacht Design</a> and an interior by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/161" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="H2 Yacht Design (Company)">H2 Yacht Design</a>.
