Built in 2005 by the Dutch shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/34" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Vitters Shipyard (Company)">Vitters</a>, the yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/788" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ghost37.25m (122'3&quot;)Vitters Shipyard2005">Ghost</a> went through a refit in 2015 and is characterised by her lightweight carbon hull and superstructure created by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/271" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Green Marine (Company)">Green Marine</a>.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/70144/image/large-439cd15976a88764e8929f1732f98769.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/70144">Powered by a 491HP CAT 3196 diesel engine, and with 110 tonnes of displacement, she is quick and innovative. Additionally, a large screen is integrated into the panelling, making it possible to watch movies. Thanks to the maximised space as a result of these hidden features, there is room for eight guests to relax or eat around the glass top table in the cockpit. The Vitters shipyard in Zwartsluis has just launched their latest superyacht, S/Y Cinderella IV. Sneak preview: Vitters' new 128ft sloop Cinderella IV

Having recently retired as Captain of the 122’ SY Ghost and prior to that, SY Velsheda, the 130’ J Class yacht, Simon Lacey is well known and respected in the Superyacht industry. Simon now joins Doyle Sails International as a key staff member. Based from the Doyle loft at Shamrock Quay, he will be responsible for both design and production of major superyacht projects. Before he took to the sea as Captain, Simon had undertaken all the development work for a number of major projects, including wind tunnel testing and sailcloth development. His experience racing high performance superyachts and completing numerous ocean deliveries gives him a unique knowledge of sail performance requirements in these large yachts. His role will include supporting Doyle overseas lofts with major sail design projects in addition to sales and marketing coordination worldwide.<noscript></noscript>
