(Company)">Tankoa Yachts</a>’ Civitavecchia shipyard was designed to be a state-of-the-art production site for <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. (Company)">Tankoa</a>’s shipbuilding activities, specifically for the construction and refit of yachts over 40 metres. The expansion has since then become a testament to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. (Company)">Tankoa</a>’s broader strategy for growth and development and has created jobs and community in the La Mattonara area of Civitavecchia, Italy.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/366757/image/large-062599f4098a0130741fef38aac46453.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/366757">According to <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. (Company)">Tankoa</a>, the T450 yacht’s key production activities including hull and superstructure construction, machinery installation and initial outfitting were all completed at &nbsp;the Civitavecchia shipyard.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/366758/image/large-f7b7506f7c2b8062af692459a8a32390.jpeg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/366758">The hull’s voyage took a total of two days before reaching the Genoa headquarters and the process was described as a “multi-phase logistics operation.” First, the hull was transported on trailers from the Civitavecchia shipyard to the quay, then loaded onto a barge and towed to Genoa. Upon reaching the city, the hull was offloaded at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. (Company)">Tankoa</a>’s private docking area.Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/11559" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Go45.0m (147'8&quot;)Tankoa Yachts S.p.A.2024">Go’s</a> American owner pushed the limits of the original brief, increasing the yacht’s gross tonnage from 430GT and working closely with the shipyard and design team to customise every inch.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/361747/image/large-76568f530c496a1ccf442b64abba2576.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/361747">“The layout was perfected to the owner’s needs and wishes and is more than ever coherent and connected to the exterior design and outfitting,” Cassetta explained. “The result is a minimalistic yet striking interior that will certainly turn heads with its understated elegance.”Onboard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/11559" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Go45.0m (147'8&quot;)Tankoa Yachts S.p.A.2024">Go</a>, that coherence is immediately felt. Step into the main saloon and you are surrounded by light. Floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides creates 270-degree views of the surrounding seascape. After verifying from our very first proposals that the design concept we had in mind was perfectly aligned with his desires, he entrusted us with this task with total confidence. There is no wasted space onboard, only spaces designed to serve a purpose and to do so beautifully.&nbsp;Down at water level, the beach club is a standout feature. Here, folding side platforms expand the deck to wrap around the transom, while a sliding sunpad can conceal the pool during passage. Tankoa Yachts has announced the launch of the first 45-metre Tankoa T450 superyacht, Go at the shipyard’s facility in Genoa, Italy.

(Company)">Tankoa Yachts</a> has sold the first hull from its all-new 45-metre superyacht series, the T450. She’s been snapped up by a North American client, who’ll receive her in 2023. Cassetta</a>, who opted for bold clean lines for the exterior, giving her an elegance and poise befit a <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A. (Company)">Tankoa</a> build. Inside, the T450 is starkly modern and is said to be perfectly in line with the needs of the owner and his family.&nbsp;“It has been a real pleasure to work with this client and his team,” Claudio Corvino, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1661" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Tankoa Yachts S.p.A.
