Currently for sale, her exterior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/135" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Studio Scanu srl (Company)">Studio Scanu</a> reflects classic Italian style with an interior created by the French-based company <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/67" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Zuretti Interior Design (Company)">Zuretti Interior Design</a>, featuring light colours, cherry wood and marble. Following her is the 55-metre superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/4867" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Azamanta55.0m (180'5&quot;)Heesen Yachts2015">Azamanta</a>, built by the Dutch shipyard <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen Yachts</a> in 2015. With a striking bronze hull, she stands out as one of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/54" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Heesen Yachts (Company)">Heesen</a>'s custom projects, featuring an ice-classed exterior designed by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/55" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Omega Architects (Company)">Omega Architects</a>.&nbsp;To the left of the marina, the 44.68-metre motor yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1356" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Berzinc44.81m (147'0&quot;)Astilleros de Mallorca S.A.1977">Berzinc</a> can be spotted. Originally built in 1977 by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/211" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Astilleros de Mallorca S.A. (Company)">Astilleros de Mallorca S.A.</a>, she was rebuilt from 2004 to 2007 at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/434" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Balk Shipyard (Company)">Balk Shipyard</a> in Holland, which included hull lengthening and the addition of a new keel. Standing out as the second largest yacht built by the yard, the 302 GT motor yacht is equipped with twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1409" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MTU (Company)">MTU</a> engines, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 14 knots.

While Frederic Breuilly has since retired, the remaining three partners are committed to ensuring the shipyard's continuity. In pursuit of this goal, they have initiated a takeover process that positions long standing collaborators with similar backgrounds and extensive knowledge of the shipyard's operations for future leadership roles.The three associates set to embark on this human and entrepreneurial adventure are: Gael Douguet: Sales Manager, who first encountered the shipyard in 1999 and joined the team in 2004. Vincent Balouin: Technical and Project Management Director, who became part of the shipyard in 2005, and Dominique Rouchon: Project Manager for Interior Works, who joined the shipyard in 2008.With a collective experience of over 50 years, these new shareholders will work in tandem, guided by the unwavering commitment of Frederic Jaouen as President. Over the medium term, they will become controlling shareholders with the guidance of BFR Investissements, represented by Eric Brulé.&nbsp;Eric Brulé emphasizes that this change of ownership presents an opportunity for the shipyard to leverage the expertise and motivation of its buyer partners. French shipyard JFA Yachts is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and ensuring its future.

The 42.9-metre sailing yacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1892" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Guillemot42.9m (140'9&quot;)Vitters Shipyard2004">Guillemot</a> has been relaunched following an extensive refit at the <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/745" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="JFA Yachts (Company)">JFA Yachts</a> shipyard in Concarneau, France. The refit was overseen by Christian Poorte of A2B Marine Projects, who represented the owner throughout the process.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/193264/image/large-c6306a3b8cdd9d8c18c433846b414b22.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/193264">The sailing yacht first visited the shipyard in early 2020 for a ‘mini-refit’ and returned later that year for a more extensive winter refit, which most notably included a freshly repainted hull. She now sports a metallic blue hue. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1892" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Guillemot42.9m (140'9&quot;)Vitters Shipyard2004">Guillemot’</a>s superstructure, mast and boom were also repainted, updating the appearance of the 2004-built yacht. She can accommodate up-to 10 guests across five staterooms, consisting of a master suite complete with a private dressing area, two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. She also hosts a crew of seven.

McMaster Yachts have sold the 42.90 metre Drumbeg (ex: Gimlä; Nelson). Burgess represented the buyers. Burgess announced earlier this week that their combined sales in 2014 have reached €1.3 billion.<img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/151936/image/large-cc61552f177f440eba6fb2f26d8be4bb.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/150190">The sailing yacht was built by Dutch shipbuilders Vitters Shipyard, in 2004 and boasts naval architecture and exterior design by Dubois Naval Architects, with beautiful interiors by Rhoades Young Design.Drumbeg is a closel sistership of Koo and Espiritu Del Xarey, also designed by Dubois and built at Vitters. Shipman 80 Paula Rosa The Shipman 80 is an entirely carbon yacht, built in Slovenia. This yacht combines world-class carbon work and sailing performance with a superyacht interior. Paula Rosa is the largest Shipman built to date. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126536/image/large-1809ffda372e7f1858a146e7609d1a53.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126536">Rhoades Young were approached initially to create the interior for a 45m performance sloop. The idea of acquiring a Shipman 80 was born out of the Client’s desire for a superyacht but for her to be delivered quicker and for her to be smaller. Paula Rosa will be used in the meantime, until the larger yacht is completed. In terms of her general arrangement she is very unusual. The brief was to maximise the space and to make her feel like a superyacht. The Rhoades Young team worked with the eye lines and diagonal views, pulling the bathroom in front of the owners cabin with a lobby off it, meant they could dispense with doors and open the space up. From the entrance doors you can see to the forward crew bulkhead, making her feel like a much larger vessel. Baltic Yachts Black Pearl Dick Young first met the client in 2005 after he had fallen in love with the Rhoades Young interior for <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1892">Gimla</a>. Together they concluded it would be a far better solution to create a ‘made to measure’ yacht rather than trying to re-create it. The overriding concept was of geometry, simplicity and calm, which is accentuated by a very high level of design detail from both the design team and the yard. <img alt="" src="https://syt-store-production.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/photo/126537/image/large-a427933d9cbdd98b03da6e08e7253a23.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/126537">The project could be described as a ‘pocket’ superyacht, and included an independent crew mess, crew cabin and galley with a dedicated access from the cockpit. The guest area forward comprises of Owners cabin suite, VIP cabin, double guest cabin and a small study area, which spills out into the forward circulation by means of a large sliding door panel, which opens up the smaller spaces to create a feeling of space and light. The dimensions throughout have been absolutely critical, because with such a limited volume available combined with an extensive Client ‘wish list’, a complex and compact plan developed. Spaces interweave and reduce any potential wastage and volume. The saloon’s relationship with the exterior was of key importance and special attention was paid to the eye lines. The coach roof windows finish flush with the deck revealing an uninterrupted teak deck, which flows directly into the interior seamlessly linking outside and inside. The birch was carefully chosen for the furniture for its modern, calm feel and contrasts beautifully with the rich oiled teak floor throughout the boat.
